Budget is so very critical and the determining factor in so many aspects of the show. We will figure out a realistic number and try to get any hidden costs out in the open as we don’t want any surprises when it comes to show day.

finding Locations

Finding the perfect venue is one of the first steps in the process. There are so many variables. Obviously a venue that has an infrastructure such as a stage, sound, lights and dressing rooms will have less logistics than doing the same show in a parking lot. 

Looking deeper

Once the venue is determined, the talent selected and the budget locked in its time to get the vendors in place and to have a deeper look at the logistics by creating a working schedule. Scheduling is one of the most important aspects of workflow within the show.

Meet the Founder and President

FOUNDER AND PRESIDENT-

Exclusive Music Events is the brainchild of Chuck Orozco. Chuck started his career in NYC in 1991 as a sound engineer, moved to California in the mid-90’s then spent over 18 years on the road touring with musical artists, first as a Sound Engineer, then starting in 2001, as a Production Manager/Tour Management for musical artists such as Jennifer Hudson, Robin Thicke, The Brian Setzer Orchestra, Jada Pinkett Smith among many others.

As an artist Tour Manager and Production manager Chuck produced events world wide for many artists and gained a vast hands on knowledge working on some of the biggest events in the world from the Super Bowl to The Oscars and The Grammy Awards. From stadium shows to intimate private events for some of the most influential people in the world such as President Obama, the King of Bahrain and The Crowned Prince of Brunei.

After spending many years on the road he started working in network television on shows such as The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Jimmy  Kimmel Live, The Late Late Show with James Corden and many many more. During his four seasons on The Ellen DeGeneres show, Chuck coordinated all the audio production for all the musical artists for the show doing over 85 A-list musical artist per season. His vast experience spurred him on to start his own company Sound Advice INC which is the parent corporation to Exclusive Music Events. “Everything thing that I’ve done in my career has led me to do the thing I’m most proud of which is starting my own company, Exclusive Music Events. Nothing excites me more than to see everything come together and lots of happy faces.”

Common Questions

What type of talent would be a good fit?

What level of talent can we realistically afford? Do we have $3M to hire Lady Gaga or should we hire a Bruce Springsteen Tribute band for $5k? A solid theme will help to determine what type of music to have and can take the event to the next level of perfection.

Where should we host the event?

Logistics, logistics, logistics! Some venues have a “house nut” which means there is one cost to cover all the costs of production, security, food and beverage, parking and many more line items. Is the venue in an open parking lot? This would have a whole different set of logistical needs to plan for from generators for power all the way down to porta potties. Let us help you find a venue with a perfect fit. 

What level of production do i need?

There are so many levels of production to consider. To start with consider what size soundsystem do we need? Logistics such as room size, venue capacity and acoustics are all subjects to consider. How many bands are playing? This will also have a bearing on staff size. How much staging, trussing and lighting do we need? Is the show during the daylight hours outside or in a dark theatre? These are just a few items to consider when planning the production.

There are many variables that go into producing an amazing event. Budget is really a great first step. Production aspects play a big role in our budget.
